These terms govern purchases on the GVINAGE website and its use. Placing an order on the site constitutes acceptance of the terms below, so it is worth reading them before you buy.
Wherever these terms say “the site”, they mean the GVINAGE website and its online shop.
1. Business details
- Business owner: Naomi Richard
- Address: GVINAGE — Rom Farm, Mount Kamon
- Email: info@gvinage.co.il
- Contact person on behalf of the business: Naomi Richard
2. Who may purchase on the site
- Anyone aged 18 or over who holds a valid Israeli ID card or a valid passport, an active email address and a valid credit card that can be charged in Israel.
- A purchase by a minor under 18 requires the approval of a parent or guardian.
- GVINAGE may block access or cancel an order if false details are given, the site is misused, or there is an attempt to harm its operation.
3. Products, images and prices
- Our cheeses are handmade. Colour, texture, noble mould and weight may vary slightly from piece to piece — this is the nature of the product, not a defect.
- Product images on the site are for illustration only and are not an exact representation of the item you will receive.
- All prices on the site are in Israeli new shekels and include VAT as required by law.
- Delivery charges are not included in the product price and are shown separately on the cart page, before you confirm payment.
- GVINAGE may update prices and offers from time to time. The binding price is the price shown when the order is confirmed.
- In the event of a clerical error or technical fault that causes a clearly wrong price to be displayed, GVINAGE will contact the customer, and the customer may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
4. Kashrut, allergens and storage
- GVINAGE products are kosher Chalav Yisrael, under the supervision of the Rabbinate of the Misgav Regional Council.
- The products contain milk (goat and sheep) and are made in a dairy where other dairy products are also made.
- Fresh and aged dairy products require continuous refrigeration. It is the customer’s responsibility to receive the delivery and refrigerate the products promptly after delivery.
5. Placing and confirming an order
- An order is considered confirmed only once the credit card company has approved the charge and a confirmation email has been sent.
- Receipt of the order by the system does not constitute a commitment to supply. If a product is out of stock, GVINAGE will inform the customer and offer a replacement or a full refund for that item.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the contact details and delivery address provided are correct and complete.
6. Payment
- Payment is made by credit card, through a secure external payment provider.
- GVINAGE does not store credit card details on its servers. Card details are passed directly to the payment provider and transmitted using an accepted security standard.
- A tax invoice is sent to the email address given with the order.
7. Delivery and farm pickup
Details of delivery areas, shipping days, delivery charges and pickup points are set out on the Shipping, Returns and Cancellations page, which forms an integral part of these terms.
8. Cancellations, returns and refunds
The right to cancel, the cases in which it does not apply (including fresh food products), cancellation fees and refund timelines are all set out on the Shipping, Returns and Cancellations page, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
9. Workshops, tastings and events
- Workshop registration is for a specific date and a specific number of participants, and the number of places at each session is limited.
- GVINAGE may cancel or postpone a workshop because of low registration, weather, the security situation or any circumstance beyond its control. In such a case an alternative date will be offered or a full refund given.
- Cancellation by the customer is subject to the conditions set out on the cancellations page.
- Visitors to the farm must follow the staff’s instructions and the site’s safety rules.
10. Liability
- GVINAGE is responsible for the quality of the products it makes up to the time of delivery, subject to the storage conditions stated.
- GVINAGE will not be liable for damage caused by improper storage by the customer after delivery.
- GVINAGE will not be liable for faults in the site, in communication services or with third-party providers that are beyond its control.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the site — including photographs, texts, product names, the logo and the design — is the property of GVINAGE or of those who have licensed it to GVINAGE. It may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission.
12. Privacy and data security
The use of personal information is governed by a separate document: the GVINAGE Privacy Policy.
13. Accessibility
GVINAGE works to make the site accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard IS 5568. Full details, including how to contact us about accessibility, are in the accessibility statement.
14. Customer service and enquiries
For any question, complaint or request, email info@gvinage.co.il. We aim to reply within 5 business days.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed solely by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction in any matter arising from them lies with the competent courts of the Northern District.
16. Changes to the terms
GVINAGE may update these terms from time to time. The binding version is the one published on the site at the time the order is placed. Last updated: 25 August 2026.
If anything in these terms conflicts with a mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Law or any other law, the provision of the law prevails.
