Our story
GVINAGE was established in 2021…
by Naomy and Yedidya Richard Stein, a Franco-Israeli couple passionate for cheese and motivated by the Zionist mission to support the Israeli Cheese maker and bring cheese education for amateurs and professional.
Cheese and love story: the perfect pairing…
Back in 2020, in London, Yedidya attended a cheese masterclass about “World cheese culture” given by Naomy Richard, Maître fromager of the International cheese Guilde and Director of an International Cheese School. This was the beginning of a new love for cheese… and each other!
A dream comes true in the North of Israel…
After many experiences around the world with cheese education and training concept, Naomy was dreaming about her new Israel project that Yedidya decided to make posible with her…
In the summer of 2021, they both made Aliyah to establish a new life project from the Galilee region of north Israel.
Very quickly, they made new cheese recipes with the Artisan cheese makers of North Israel and opened a maturation house in order to develop the flavours using high quality french technics.
