40 years of experience
The Farm Story
In 1986, Amit Rom ascended Mount Kamon with 50 happy goats. Since then, dozens of other people have joined the experience, harmoniously maintaining our wonderful farm.
Amir’s children multiplied: a cheese factory, goats pasture, a vegetable garden, a fruit tree orchard and a vocational rehabilitation center.
In 2013, Amit was joined by Ron Propper, and they conceived together an extensive tourism program.
In the early 2024, GVINAGE joined the adventure to produce the cheeses from the unique natural condition bringing the knowledge to develop the range.

A social mission
As an act of gratitude for the opportunity to live the dream, and out of a sense of obligation to give back to the community, the Rom family established a vocational rehabilitation center.
For 22 years, a rehabilitation center has been operating at the Rom farm, under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Health. Thanks to this winning combination, about 40 Jewish and Arab mental health and post-traumatic stress sufferers are able to spend their days in a meaningful way, in the heart of the pastoral setting. Accompanied by social workers and rehabilitation instructors, we build an occupational rehabilitation plan for each sufferer, defining for them individually the goals and the type of work on the farm. The process begins with occupational rehabilitation, the ultimate goal of which is to go to work in the free market.
